Two “strangers” walk up to me on the beach “Excuse me, could you take a picture for us?” “Sure” I say “I’m just out taking photos of the ocean, why don’t I take a couple shots with my camera? I can send them to you.” “Oh, thanks. That would be great” they reply. I take the inevitable stiff, smiling at the camera shot of these two before the real fun begins. Michael turns to Kristyn and brings her in close. He kisses her and they have a moment all their own, while a “stranger” continues to photograph them. Then slowly he drops down to one knee as Kristyn looks at him with confusion and consternation. “Wha…. no…. what are you…” she stutters. He pulls out a ring box from it’s carefully hidden place on his ankle. The words that passed between Michael to Kristyn during this moment are their’s alone to treasure, but I assure you that “marry me” and “yes” were included. The photographs taken on this gorgeous day on an empty white sand beach in Hawaii detail the story that I was blessed to be a part of. Congratulations Michael and Kristyn.
