Elopement Photos at Secret Beach Koolina

I got to meet this lovely couple right after they finished saying their vows in a private wedding ceremony with a Hawaiian monk seal as their witness. I rocked up just as they finished a sumptuous luxury picnic by intimate occasions. Half the beach was roped off for our monk seal visitor, leaving a beautiful and unusually untouched background in an otherwise busy location. The sky was blue, the palm trees green and the sunset lit up like a sky on fire for us. What a gorgeous day! Call me for all the elopements – I LOVE it!

Makapuu Family Portrait – Hawaii Family Photography

I recently had a fantastic family portrait session with this adorable family of four. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception. The kids were so full of life and ready to party!

We met at Makapuu Beach. I love shooting family photos at Makapuu because it is quite literally one of the most beautiful locations on Oahu, or even all of Hawaii! The black volcano rock surrounded by green mountains with the last rays of sunlight filtering through the sunset clouds is all just breathtaking!

For our shoot, the family brought cute orange haku, or head leis. I love haku leis, they look great, add some Hawaii flair and do a great job of keeping hair out of the face on windy days like this one!

Waimanalo Sunset Maternity Session – Hawaii Maternity Photos

I LOVE pregnancy photos. This shoot is an example of why. This adorable young couple were so fun to hang out with, amazing in front of the camera and not to be all cliche but this mama to be was absolutely glowing. Waimanalo sunset did not disappoint. We were treated to a sky full of clouds with touches of soft pinks and purples and even a tiny rainbow in the distance. Thanks for an amazing maternity session and good luck with baby!
