It is a small and limited location but it offers a beautiful view of the epic Koolau mountains, palm trees, white sand and turquoise ocean. Located on the far East side of the island, the afternoon offers soft pastel light and sometimes some sunset kickback colors in the clouds.

What could be better than walking along a beautiful beach as the sun rises over the ocean, gorgeous mountains in the distance. Beach sunrise is the perfect backdrop to your Hawaii photo session, and not a bad way to start the day!
This discounted 30 minute session is available on most weekdays* at 8am at Portlock or Kawaikui Beach Park in East Honolulu for groups of 5 or less.
